Writing staging data into MDM

This scenario applies only to a subscription-based Talend Platform solution with MDM or Talend Data Fabric.

This scenario describes a two-component Job that writes a generated data record into the
staging area of a data container on the MDM server.

Prerequisites:

  • Make sure the MDM server is up and running.

  • Make sure a Customer data container, and a
    Customer data model with a
    Customer entity have been created. For more
    information, see
    Talend Studio User Guide    .

  • You have been assigned a role with the appropriate user authorization and access rights to
    the data model Customer.

In this example, the Customer data model is designed with the elements
of Id, account_num, fname,
and lname as follows:
