Reading Avro data

Configuring tAvroInput
  1. Double-click tAvroInput to open its
    Component view.

  2. Click the

    dotbutton.png

    button next to Edit
    schema    to open the schema editor.

  3. Click the

    plus_button.png

    button four times to add four rows and in the Column column, rename them to Id, FirstName, LastName and
    Reg_date, respectively.

  4. In the Type column, select Integer for Id
    and Date for Reg_date. The date pattern used in this scenario is
    dd-MM-yyyy.
  5. Click OK to validate these changes and
    accept the propagation prompted by the pop-up dialog box.
  6. In the Folder/File field, enter the path,
    or browse to the source file you need the Job to read.
